Welcome to Canterbury
Canterbury is a great Town to live in! The natural beauty of the surrounding area provides many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. The miles of river frontage along the Merrimack provide a great number of recreational options. Our proximity to routes 93, 89 and 4 provides access to the north, south, east or west making it easy to get around our State.
Canterbury is primarily rural/residential with some small, home based businesses and several working farms. In addition, many of our residents work in neighboring Concord, the State Capitol. We have a small but committed group of Town employees who work hard to provide residents with high quality of service and take great pride in what they do for our Town.
