The main purpose of the Historic District Commission is to guide construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of property in the Town's two historic districts so as to preserve the distinctive character, aesthetic and integrity of the districts.  For a full description of the Commissions role please see Ordinance, Chapter 13.

The Historic District meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in the Meeting House.  Members of the public are welcome to attend work sessions.  Public hearings are noticed when an application requires a hearing. Meetings agendas and minutes are posted on the town website.
