TREASURE READING is the Statewide summer reading theme for 2006. Join us for pirate songs and tales of the high seas with children's performer STEVE BLUNT on Wednesday, June 28, at 11:00 AM in the Parish House. This is a free event.
Follow up with weekly story hours under the tree in the Children's Room every Wednesday in July at 10:00AM for tales of adventure and bold buccaneers with a theme related craft. SIGN UP is required.
Children of any age may keep a reading log from June 24 through July 22 and receive a reading certificate and prize. Pick up a book log at the Library or create your own. Book logs must be turned in by July 22 to receive a prize.
DOUBLE VISION is an adventure in mime, music and circus. LINDA and JODY SCALISE will perform at the Town Hall on Tuesday, July 4 at 6:30PM. A great show for the entire family!
AFRICAN RYTHYMS AND WORLD MUSIC with multicultural instrumentalists JAY COOK and STEVE LEICACH who will take their audience on a musical journey through Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean. This event will be held on Tuesday, August 15 at 6:30PM outside the Library. Another great event for the entire family!
